This is ten thousand pounds of awesome. Barack Obama made a Special Olympics joke last night on Leno. This was win-win for me. Either the King of the We Are Victims Party would get his ass handed to him for being insensitive … or it would be safe once again to make ‘tard jokes.
But it got so much better today. According to TMZ, Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor who has bowled three perfect 300 games said of Obama, “He’s cool, but he can’t beat me.”
Yet another win-win. Or possibly a win-win-win. Barack Obama declines the challenge and looks like a wuss. Barack Obama accepts the challenge, does a lot of training and wins, thus making a Special-Needs guy cry. Or Barack Obama accepts the challenge and, even though he’s using those inflatable bumpers in the gutters, STILL loses.
Oh, and don’t look now, but Congress just wiped its ass with the Constitution and threw it out the window. But this is much more amusing.
Ewww. Who would want to wipe with something that already has Dick Cheney’s shit all over it?
That was exactly what we said after we decided we weren’t having any more kids. “Tard jokes are safe again!” My apologies.
He has hurt many families in America. He needs to say he is sorry in the public, not to an organization.
In addition, someone who claims to have experienced prejudice and stereotypes throughout life, and has written about them in great detail, should be more sensitive and refined from life’s lessons.
Furthermore, Obama claimed he was going to have the world think ‘highly’ of America again. Will this joke help?
For someone who spoke of equality as a creed. Does this joke match that philosophy?
For someone that said he would stand for all people. Does this stand up for those that participate in the special Olympics?
The fact is Obama claimed a higher standard. To much is given, much is required.
Obama has just showed us that ‘yes we can’ destroy what a campaign stands for with a single joke.
During the campaign for the White House in 2008, the media criticized Palin for being ‘common,’ ‘not-polished,’ ‘not-compassionate’ and ‘not presidential.’ However, compare Sarah Palins attitude in this video created three weeks ago for the Special Olympics in Boise, Idaho.
You decide the more ‘presidential’ among them. Watch: http://tinyurl.com/ccz6nj
“Furthermore, Obama claimed he was going to have the world think ‘highly’ of America again. Will this joke help?”
Nope. Neither will the “thoughtful” gift that he gave the British PM: A collection of DVDs of American films. Really? That’s what you come up with? What did you do, raid the bargain bin at Wal-Mart? They give you an antique pen holder carved from the sister ship of the ship used to create the Oval Office desk, the framed commission for that ship, and a multi-set biography of Churchill, and you give them…what? Dumb and Dumber? And here’s the REALLY funny part…
The DVDs are apparently all Region 1!!! For those not tech-savvy, that means that none of them will play in British DVD players!
Hahahahahahaha!
Tea parties…pissing off the British…somebody wake me when the revolution starts.
Congratulations for making the top five blog posts on Bowlergate.
